 Michael is an IT and BPO executive with global business experience. Particular focus is business development, outsourcing, building new business models/joint ventures.

Sami Simula - Secretary & Treasurer
 Sami is the President of Okmetic Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of a Finnish Silicon wafer manufacturer. Sami has experience in both manufacturing and quality management, as well as process development in the Silicon wafer business. He has a doctorate in Physics from the Helsinki University of Technology.

Kenneth Niesman - Director
 Ken Niesman has served as an FABG Board member since 2006. He is also the Honorary Consul of Finland for northern Texas and Oklahoma. Mr. Niesman is an attorney and has practiced law in the corporate and business section of Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP since 1976. During his 30+ years of law practice, he has represented, and continues to represent, several Finland-based entities in connection with their US operations.

Katriina Jarvela - Director, Finnish Ladies Liason
 Katriina Jarvela represents Finnish Women's Club. She is a D.D.S. in Finland. She is also an independent business owner, Internet Marketer and Mentor. Her language skills include Finnish, Swedish, English, German and basic Italian and Spanish.

Markus Impola - Director, Digital Media
 Markus is currently a Project Manager at TELLUS International, Inc. and works with worldwide clients to develop their brand image by leading Web 2.0 projects (web sites with blogs, wikis, forums and so on) including logo design and other marketing materials. Markus has executed different projects that include teams in Asia and Europe.

 Born in Helsinki, Finland, Petri is a 20 year veteran within the wireless industry and currently a Sales Manager for Nokia, Inc in Dallas, TX. He has a passion for music, Table Tennis, tropical climates and spending time with his family.

Scott Vartija - Director & Member of the Golf Committee
 Scott is Director of New Business Development at A.F. Technologies, Inc. He has held senior management positions in a number of American and Finnish companies. He has a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He is also a Certified General Accountant (CGA), Canada.

Heikki Heliste - Director
Heikki has 18 years experience within wireless infrastructure business in Finland, the Netherlands and the US. Heikki was pioneering the early days of Nokia Networks in DFW area already back in 1996. He has served in R&D, Product Management, Technical Support and on Special Assignments. Currently he manages a multi-continent and -site R&D Program for Nokia Siemens Networks from Irving. On the side of the working life Heikki has contributed to the local ice hockey community as a long time coach and a player.
